Our Story

Diana and Natalie first met in December 2022 at Saloon in Somerville, MA after matching on Hinge. Over the next three hours, they quickly discovered that they shared a similar sense of adventure and perspective on life. Natalie had recently started planning a move to another city and swore it was her “last date” in Boston. To be fair, she wasn’t that far off—it was just her last first-date ever instead. By the time they rang in the New Year together on their third date, it was obvious that their connection was truly special.

Two months later, after their first weekend away together in Maine, back at Natalie’s apartment, when to say “I love you” for the first time was no longer a question—it was simply a race as to who could say it first (okay fine, Diana won). Even Natalie’s cat, Coyo, recognized the significance of the moment—suddenly ending her jealous, avoidant streak and promptly adopting Diana’s lap as an equally acceptable option.

They moved in together later that summer, adopted their second cat, Moto, the following year, and have since made the Navy Yard in Charlestown, MA their home. Long walks by the water, cozy nights watching dramas on the couch, and planning trips together have become some of the simplest and most meaningful parts of their life together.

Some of their favorite trips together include Quebec City, Provincetown, the Catskills, Lake Placid, New Orleans, and, most special of all, Nova Scotia, where Natalie proposed to Diana in Peggy’s Cove at the end of a magical week exploring Halifax, Lunenburg, and the Annapolis Valley wine region. Saying yes—to both the proposal and to celebrating their wedding at a vineyard there—followed all too easily.
